Pillar 04

Agriculture

Stronger farms, stronger families.

Better horticulture, animal husbandry and market access to lift farmer income and the rural economy.

Why it matters

Stronger farms, stronger families.

Hill farming is hard work on small plots, with unpredictable weather and uncertain prices. Many farmers do not get the best price for what they grow, because they lack training, storage or a route to the market.

Golden Arrows supports farmers to grow better, add related activities such as animal husbandry, and sell for a fairer price, so farming can sustain families.
