Pillar 03

Education

Learning that opens doors.

School campaigns and mental health campaigns that help rural students learn better and feel better.

Why it matters

Learning that opens doors.

Being in school is not the same as learning. Children in rural schools often carry worries that nobody asks about, from exam stress to trouble at home, and it shows in how they learn.

Golden Arrows takes campaigns into rural village schools, working with teachers and parents to support both learning and the wellbeing of every child.

Who we serve

Students, teachers and parents in rural village schools

Where we work

Government and community schools in rural areas

Who we work with

What we do

Four focus areas.

The work we plan with each partner, shaped around what the community needs most.

01

School campaigns

Fun, hands-on campaigns on reading, maths, science, study habits and school attendance.

02

Mental health campaigns

Age-appropriate sessions that help children talk about stress, build confidence and know where to find support.

03

Teacher and parent engagement

Short workshops so adults can spot problems early and encourage learning at home.

04

Learning materials

Books, kits and simple learning aids that keep the effort going after the campaign ends.

How we work with partners

From listening to lasting results.

  1. 01

    Discover

Visit the school, listen to teachers, and find the real barriers.

  2. 02

    Design

Plan campaigns with teachers, with clear goals for learning and wellbeing.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Run the sessions in school, with trained facilitators and counsellors.

  4. 04

    Demonstrate

Check what changed in attendance, confidence and learning, and report it.

What we measure

Results partners can see.

Every program starts with clear goals. We report these to our partners in plain language.

  • Schools and students reached
  • Teachers and parents engaged
  • Change in learning levels, before and after
  • Attendance in participating schools
  • Students who sought support
  • Teacher and student feedback
